Toro metal leg chair

The Toro chair is all about simplicity: a slim, contemporary line, with a curved backrest that gently wraps around the sides for good back support. This version stands on 15 mm metal legs, four slender uprights connected by a crossbar beneath the seat, giving the whole piece its light silhouette.

The frame is made of solid beech, guaranteeing sturdiness for everyday use. The seat rests on wide elastic webbing and 43 kg/m3 high-resilience foam padding, designed for lasting support. The backrest is made from a press-formed multi-ply wood panel 10 mm thick, topped with two layers of foam, each 10 mm thick, one in 55 kg/m3 polyether, the other in 35 kg/m3 high-resilience foam.

Upholstered in a dark grey covering and set on its black base, it fits equally well around a dining table or in a dining corner. A clean, understated seat, at home in a holiday property as much as in an everyday interior.
