A roped party moves forward through the white-out, red and white silhouettes huddled close together as the blizzard erases the horizon. Backpacks, hoods and poles stand out against a grey-blue backdrop where the cold seems to settle in. This tableau randonneurs dans le blizzard plays on the contrast of red against the harshness of the setting to tell a story of high-altitude adventure.
The image is reproduced in ultra high-definition print on a textured canvas, whose slight relief mimics the micro-texture of a genuine painting, without the grain of brushstrokes. The canvas is firmly stretched and stapled onto a wooden frame, its edge left visible and deliberate. One or more hangers are already fitted on the back for direct wall mounting.
Vivid red, white and grey come together in a clean, graphic result, at home in a living room, dining room, hallway or bedroom, and equally well suited as a gift idea.
