Angel des Montagnes, or ADM, was founded in 1995. Its inspiration comes from the peaks, before it broke free of the mountains alone to become nomadic. The house works with noble materials: wood, wool, mineral stone, the sheen of mouth-blown glass. It chooses its workshops piece by piece: stoneware and ceramics in Porto and Lisbon, glass in northern Italy and Malaga, oak from a cabinetmaker in Saint-Étienne.
Our selection covers tableware, lighting and textiles. For the table, the Abondance plates and bowls, the Étincelles plates, the Serra glasses and the Megève jugs fill our plates section and our glasses one. ADM's lighting — wall lights, table lamps, a glass trailing lamp and lampshades — sits among our pendant lights. Textiles round it off: Velluto velvet curtains, a matching quilt and cushions, the Magdeleine throw, the Moraine bed runner and the Vancouver bed linen set.
White, black and grey dominate, lifted by browns and beiges: a restrained palette, at times pared back, at times rustic, that finds its place in the living room, the dining room and the bedroom. Enough to build at home, all year round or for the length of a chalet stay, the warm, natural feel that gives ADM its character.
